For many months now, Representative Issa R-CA has been hard at work delving through reams of reports and information, gathering potential evidence to use in subpoenas. And he plans on serving them when the Republicans regain control of the house this fall.
"Cabinet officers, assistant secretaries, directors — I will be able to take on everybody that the president hires and relies upon; the people who tell him that everything is fine,” pledges Issa, the ranking member of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, in an interview with National Review Online....David Bossie, who worked as chief investigator for Burton, says Republicans should embrace the subpoena as “an incredibly powerful tool” that will enable Congress to keep a “true check and balance on power.” Being able to bring in officials for deposition, he says, “will be a game-changer,” with witnesses being forced to answer questions truthfully or risk the penalty of perjury."
Now, with that article in mind, the folks over at Hillbuzz have done an awesome job of grinding up Rep Issa's report , you will need to click over to their page, because their stuff is all nicely linked up and I don't want to break any of their links.
Keep this in mind: It is against the law for US taxpayers money to be used for propaganda. Yes, I know what the liberals are going to say---well Booosh did it! Yes, he did. In eight years there were four times. In the last four administrations there were seven in 28 years. Contrast that with 11 in just the last 18 months!
Here is the link to Hillbuzz--you can also read the report for yourself.
